Initial Client Contact

A potential client contacts the office, and the office creates a Lead.
Proposal
The Project Manager converts the Lead to a Proposal with a single click, then builds the Proposal from Tasks, priced as Time & Materials, a Sum per Task, or a Flat Fee with Surveysa’s built-in estimating tools, and attaches any relevant files.
Contract
The Project Manager creates the Contract from the Proposal automatically, using your firm’s own Contract Templates. The signature fields are native to Surveysa and carry the same legal weight as ink under the U.S. ESIGN Act and state UETA laws.
Project
Once every party has signed, Surveysa e-mails each of them a copy of the signed Contract. With a click, the Proposal becomes a Project with its own job number and brings every Proposal file with it; the Lead becomes a Client and the Lead’s contact becomes a Client Contact.

Field
Crews receive their work orders on tablets and phones: the Tasks, the days estimated for each, and any plans or calcs attached to them. Point files, site photos, and Site Observations sync from the field devices to Surveysa automatically; when there is no signal they are held on the device and sent when service returns.

Drafters open synced field files straight from Windows Explorer; Civil 3D references update with no broken paths. A file in use is checked out, so no two people edit it at once. When drafting is done, CAD marks the Deliverables for review.

Review & Deliver
The signing surveyor reviews the draft and marks it up for revision in Surveysa’s own markup tools, in Surveysa PDF, or in any PDF editor. The drafter is notified the moment a Deliverable is marked up. When the surveyor approves it, they sign and seal it inside Surveysa PDF or in their own PDF editor, and the Deliverables go to the client through Surveysa’s Client Portal, branded with your firm’s logo and wording.
